Ivana honed her artistic talents at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, where she specialized in classical painting and explored contemporary techniques. Seeking broader influences, she pursued further studies at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Her time in Austria inspired her to integrate bold experimentation into her work, leading to the unique artistic style for which she is now renowned.
